Some of you may know I am involved in mental health, and I’m super interested to see how this group pans out. I’m not going to be able to go to this meeting, but hopefully I will be able to attend soon. I think they are using the  Icarus Project as their model. They produce a workbook I want to read.  If anyone has resources about their project, let me know!

Then you should see this film! If you can’t make the film, consider a business minor, you’ll learn all about corporations he he he (just kidding).

Joe Pug at Fitzgeralds $12 – Joe pug is one of my all time favorite favorite favorite folk singers. Fun story: Dena went with me to see him our freshman year at Mangos (before it got weird). I expected the crowd to be full of hipsters. Nope, full of guys in polos and backwards hats and north face jackets. That was a weird. Check out my favorite song by him.

“And I Feel Fine” at Obsidian Art Space, 8pm – $10. I saw Hotel Tropicana there and it was really entertaining. And no, it had nothing to do with me being on my 3rd date with this guy I was enamored with.

(dena says:) for all you wondering, this is one of the many box turtles at my parents house. we keep most of them in a fenced out portion of our back yard where they have room to frolic and play.this little guy would likely squeeze through the cracks so he’s living on the back porch until he grows up a little. we found him loose in the backyard when he was the size of a sliver dollar, so freakin’ cute are baby turtles. while taking these pictures my mom fed him a worm (from the compost) and a roach (we found inside the house) so, don’t worry, i take good care of my pets.
