taking a little break

taking a little breakhi hi. you’ve probably noticed i haven’t posted in a while. sorry, not sorry. i was so passionate and into this blog for so many years (started in with makenzie back in 2012. wowie zowie). anyway i’m just not feelin it right now, so i’m taking a little break, but hopefully i’ll come back someday and when i do i’ll be sure to let you know.

on a side note, what i AM into right now is Fall. this is the first time in my whole entire life i’m kind of ready for summer to be over and Fall vibes to kick in. it’s weird and also so inspiring. i’m also into dark green velvet and thrifting cigar boxes. i’m in a weird (semi-trashy) texas country on the radio phase and have been brewing lots of random tea, keeping it in the fridge and mixing it with fake milk and ice every morning. it feels so fancy to make and drink my own milky iced tea everyday. speaking of fancy, i’m also into lighting candles and white christmas lights (nick don’t get mad at me getting ahead of my seasons and all). lastly sewing a lot in anticipation for the holiday craft market season and fake eyelashes. yeah, seriously.

see you when i see you internet world.

Any recommendations for other sites to get Houston events during your absence?? We’ll miss your blog, but enjoy the well-deserved self affirmation time!
