HEY GUYS.

YOU MIGHT HAVE NOTICED WE NOW HAVE OUR VERY OWN URL!

THAT’S RIGHT…PANCHOANDLEFTEY.WORDPRESS.COM (WHAT A MOUTHFUL!) IS NOW PANCHOANDLEFTEY.COM!

THERE’S GOING TO BE A LOT MORE EXCITING CHANGES COMING UP! SHOUT OUT TO ANDREW FOR HELPING US OUT.

we’re also in the process of rebranding ourselves as houston’s favorite scene and culture blog, so any suggestions as to how to make our blog EVEN better would would be so helpful.

In fact, why don’t all-ya’ll loyal followers (if you can make time) leave an anonymous comment (sorry if leaving a comment on our blog isn’t as easy as it sounds) (and feel free to make up a fake email address to make sure it’s REAL anonymous) or, if more convient, email us directly (panchoandleftey@gmail.com). we’d really REALLY appreciate it:

1. what do you look for in a blog/ what makes you keep coming back ? (are you all about fashion and style // local stuff // DIY crafts // reciepes // deep thoughts // fun stuff // decorating)

2. what do you like about panchoandleftey ? (events calendar // co-op house life // reports back from houston event’s we’ve attended // recaps of our roadtrips //  inside our house sneak peaks // netflix reviews etc.)

3. do you know us in real life ? how did you find out about our site? (this ones pretty self-explanatory)

4. anything else you’d like to see start happening or continue to happen or stop happening on panchoandleftey?

5.  do you have a blog ? if so, we’d love to check it out !!!

thank you guys so much, this is really helpful. without readers LIKE YOU this blog would end up just being makenzie and i talking to ourselves -blahblahblah- and there is already way too much of that in the world.

    1. I like blogs that post OFTEN, besides that I’m not a big fan of fashion posts (i think they’re a little stuck up – theres more to life than CONSUMERISM) and I like the idea of a houston blog, lets keep it local !!!

2.Def like the events calendar, i ALWAYS look at it and of course the “sneak peaks” who doesn’t like looking into people’s intimate spaces.

3.I know one of you. Saw it on facebook.

    4. keep up with the events calendar, maybe do some more posts about your favorite hole in the wall places in houston.

    5. no i don’t

    3. we have met but I wouldn’t say we know one another.
    4. more silliness and maybe interviews with local artists and interesting types.
    5. I have a blog but I like to keep my identity secret.

You guys seem to know some really cool people! GUEST POSTS???

The events calendar basically runs my life, don’t know what I’d do without it.

I’d like to see some craft posts – I know ya’ll make cool stuff – and mak with her zines!

I really like the idea of cool people interviews too, like the comment above. Maybe interview videos?

Anyways, the blog is super refreshing – keep it up!

I like your blog! You could write more recipes, crafts, and more personal posts. Y’all don’t have enough information about yourselves, I don’t think.

I like the netflix reviews and the roadtrip recaps. I liked the london and scotland pictures too. 🙂 I went there this past summer as well.

I don’t know you in real life but I may have mutual friends in common. 🙂

I like the events calendar but you only post things in one area of houston. There’s a lot going in Katy, Memorial, Bellaire, and even Sugarland. 🙂

I like to creep on young people’s lives. Keep up the good work.

I’d like to read more about sustainability efforts from around the city. Maybe you two need to take a trip to the Last Organic Outpost?

Hens for Houston would be another group you should highlight.

    1. Local Stuff (It’s like the two of you are the Curators of Houston)

    2. Events Calendar, easily the most valuable resource you provide to Houston. (Thanks again Dena!)

    3. Never met in real life. Still not sure how I stumbled across this and put it in my bookmarks :O

    4. Start Happening – In the beginning, it was difficult to tell if Dena or Makenzie was writing the post. After a while, it’s easy to pick up on writing styles, but it could be nice to preface each post with who is actually writing it (for newer readers.)
Stop Happening – Nothing. Everything is pretty great and sincere. Keep up the good work.

    5. Nope. I am without.

    1. I keep coming back to a blog for the same reasons I keep coming back to a location in real life. authenticity and character and local ownership.

    2. DIY and crafts are the cherry on top of a stylish, personable, useful, and charming scene blog. You guys rule, Never Change.

    3. I was shit-faced drunk at SuperHappyFunLand watching a few rock bands with my friend med-school friend. The next day I watched a band (soon to be my band) at the Compound on Wheeler. Thats when you both told me about your blog — you guys mentioned it after I told Makenzie that I saw her wearing the same outfit at SHFL the preceding evening.

    4. I’m not really sure about the blue bell reviews. I like all the candid Vimeo stuff, especially anything political, but whats with the sound quality? Did you do all the voice in post?

    5. No blog, no feed, no page, just letters.

Allow me to guess, Pancho is Makenzie and Leftey is Dena??
