my bf moved up to Urbana, IL for grad school a few weeks ago. he is studying urban planning and possibly landscape architecture. if you have ever been to his houston apartment, you’d already know that he has some style (turns out it runs in his family). he now lives on the second floor of this little bungalow a mile or so away from the U of I campus with his girl cat “rudy”.

one of his best guy friends gave him a 24 pack of lone stars as a going away present. just a little something to remind him of texas.

excluding the mattress, pillows, and his shoes, tony is probably the youngest thing in his bedroom. he has an appreciation for antiques.

i filled my free time with crafts while staying with him. i made a bathroom curtain complete with vintage buttons, a cowl neck scarf, some felt silverware to distinguish between the multiple light switches in the hallway, place mats, coasters, and a texas appliquéd cup towel.

until our paths meet again, we’ll be 949 miles apart, liking each other still.
