makenzie ran her first race! woohoo. she’s been running every saturday morning with a luke’s locker 9-5 group for the past while and at the houston heights 29th annual 5k fun run – ran a 27:11. turns out she was like 3rd (or something) in her age group. go girl.

i made her a little sign but was too embarrassed to hold it up as she crossed the finish line. best part of the race? all the free food afterwards. you keep running girl, and i’ll keep cheering!
