I’m sure you read Dena’s posts about her BF, Tony (if you didn’t, check them out here, here, and here). How cute are they? Dena is always doing cute things for her BF like decorating his apartment and leaving sweet notes. Dena has been very lucky to date some very wonderful guys and I’m happy for her. 

But what about the rest of us? It seems like for every great guy Dena dates, I get caught up with three losers. Sometimes I feel like I’ll always be without a plus-one. But most of the time, being single is great. You can always eat at the restaurant you choose. You can read as many books as you want. You don’t have to worry about balancing time between friends and boyfriend. 

You know what’s better than having a boyfriend?

Pugs are better than a boyfriend. Here is a picture of me freaking out over these cute pugs. “Take a picture of me in this pug party!” I told Dena. Come on, y’all, who wants to see a picture of me with my arms around a hottie when you could see me in a giant pug pile?

You see, Dena and I bring the best of both worlds. Dena is romantic and emotional. She has long relationships with boys who care a lot about her. She does cute things with her boyfriends and takes cute pictures. I haven’t had the same experience, but I have learned a lot about enjoying alone time and being content with solitude. So just in case you were feeling sad about your  love life, don’t worry. I’m here for you.
