This past week i’ve been in quite the “fashion” rut. Fashion in quotes because i wouldn’t call my wardrobe “fashion”, more along the lines of outfits, anyway, the point is that i’ve been literally stressed out about what to wear. imagine that.

This seems to happen to me at the beginning of each season, its as if all of a sudden i no longer trust my intuition. So, during classes today i was scribbling in the margins of my notes any and all inspiration for the upcoming warm weather Houston is known for.

Here are some pictures from my trip ti Kauai last summer (except the last one – taken at Houston’s very own Tacos a Go GO), perfect examples of my favorite day to day outfits:

If the weather is warm ( i thank the lord every day i live in the heat and heart of Texas) you can find me wearing some variation of my go-to outfit: jean cut offs and a tank top. Some days i splurge and wear a sun dress and other days i add a vintage element, but for the most part i feel most comfortable and cute in these simple basics.

As for my s/s fashion rut i decided to compile three of my favorite movie characters into an inspirational photo montage.

First inspirational movie MAMMA MIA:

I am not ashamed to admit that i love this movie. I love the scenery, the colors, the atmosphere and above all the OUTFITS!
