todays the big day. i’m turning 21 years old. although it’s a big deal, i’m not planning to do much out of the ordinary. i’ll go to class, eat/serve dinner at Food Not Bombs with my home living and homeless friends, and then country dance my heart out at Wild West with a few close girlfriends. because my birthday is on a wednesday, i plan to keep celebrating through the weekend. i’ll keep the blog updated on how it goes. so far all i’m asking my parents for is a new set of truck floor mats and a homemade strawberry cake.

i spent it with makenzie and our boyfriends at the time. we ate dinner at Hollywood chinese restaurant in montrose, then had homemade cake and amy’s ice cream. later that night i went with my BF to a tattoo shop on westheimer where he spent $120 and 2 hours getting an american flag tattoo on his bicep. so, yep, that was pretty eventful. hopefully no tattooing will take place this year.
