half way through finals
the end of another school semester is bitter sweet. it’ll be nice to be done with finals, but it also means makenzie and i won’t be living within shouting (actually whistling in our case) distance from each other for a whole summer. it also means were that much closer to being real grown ups. we decided to celebrate our 1 1/2 weeks of finals being over with our favorite kind of treat: lunchy + shopping.
we used to get self conscious taking pictures of each other in public, with everyone watching and all, no longer an issue
makenzie got a parking ticket downtown yesterday. she just remembered and made “this” face
“smell good” aisle at whole foods. i always sample the vanilla musk essential oil. btw: we got in trouble for taking pictures inside the store one second after this shot.
up next, buffalo exchange on westheimer. i drove makenzie’s car while she ate her sandy-wich.
got neither the skirt or dress.
i’d wear it if i already had it, but wasn’t going to spend $13 on it.
it’s gettin’ crazy in the BF dressing room (to the tune of: its gettin real in the whole foods parking lot such a great song)
once again, totally not caring that people on Westheimer are totally wondering what we’re doing
i think i was either going to sneeze or thinking about something gross
doin’ a little dance for the camera girl. you’re welcome for that mak!
what? weird?
good luck to us and everyone else who is hangin in there this last week before summer break. try to focus – it’ll be so worth it in the long run.
Where did y’all go for lonchy? What kind of sandywich did Mak eat? I need details, please.
we ate at whole foods – one of our favorite “restaurants” in town, we’re both extremely cheep (dena a little more so than mak) and whole foods is a great place to “be seen” and get good cheap food. and sandwich wise, makenzie likes: ciabatta bread, mayo, spinach, field roast, pickles, carrots and cheese.
You have no idea how much time I’ve logged at that Buffalo Exchange. Love your blog! Yes, you’ll definitely have to come to the breakfast/symposium. Stay tuned!
so SO exciting! can’t wait, let us know if we can help in anyway.
