THIS MOVIE IS: Goofy, Campy, Predictable

So I’m out of TV shows to watch on Netflix and if you know me, this is a really big deal. One of my favorite things to do is summarize TV shows for Dena, whether she wants to hear or not. I’m also very particular about the TV shows I watch. So what I’m trying to say is that I’ve had to watch full length movies. Ugh what a pain.

Superstar was really funny though. This follows the story of Mary Katherine, a high schooler who dreams of one day being a superstar. When the Fight Venereal Disease Talent Show comes to town, she sees her chance to launch into stardom. She also has a crush on the coolest kid in school. But wait, the weirdo bad boy from her special education class has a crush on her! What do? Guess you’ll just have to watch the movie to find out.

Mary Katherine loves to make out with inanimate objects in place of an actual boyfriend. She also works in a video store where she rewinds all the movies. Sh studies the superstars and imitates them.

So yep.
