chicago: part II
the next day in chicago all of our local friends were at work and we were on our own.
we ate the cheapest breakfast: $3.25 for a big plate of rice + beans + and migas. we recommend this place.
patterned shirt twins walkin down michigan ave to the L blue line station. up next, millennium park for our FREE walking tour given by a retired old person local.
we ultimately decided not to do anything touristy on this trip. JUST KIDDING. thats pretty much all we did during the day light hours.
i waited alone in front of the fountain for a long time, i was waiting to see the face spit out water, but i didn’t wait long enough.
we came back to this pavilion later in the evening for a free Broadway show. i got to sing all the queen ‘we will rock you’ musical songs. we sat on the sidewalk and ate our pizza leftovers, we looked a bit raggedy.
this exhibit was in the chicago cultural museum, it showed hip and eco friendly things happening all over the world, turns out most cool things happen in NYC. i did get to show off about knowing magda the knitta please lady from houston.
we can now leave chicago happy. we had hotdogs, saw the bean, and ate deep dish pizza.
What, no Billy Goat Tavern?
Cheezborger, Cheezborger, Cheezborger. No Pepsi, Coke. No Fries, Cheeps.
