and then we drove down main street of this little town on our way home and there were people lined up on both sides and we thought we were in a parade. but it turns out it hadn’t started yet, so we parked and sat down on the sidewalk just in time. and i eavesdropped on all the townies and was jealous the kids got all the candy and freezer pops. then we drove home and watched season five of the office.
